Dinner for two should be all about sharing a delicious meal with someone special, not spending hours in the kitchen, so enjoy making this delicious two course meal to share with someone special. The dessert can be prepared and cooked the day before. Put together the salad at the last minute. Just cook and serve the mussels immediately before eating and warm some crusty French bread in a moderate oven for 10- 15 minutes or so, to go with them.
For a really easy option, simply serve the baked camembert from the starter section, with the vegetable sticks and some warm French bread.
