Great Hints and Tips for Super Agers

1. Climbing the stairs uses most of the leg muscles and acts as a mini workout every time. Always opt for stairs rather than the lift!

2.  Age is just a number. A healthy diet and lifestyle can mean your biological age quickly becomes lower than your actual age!

3. Certain foods really can help stiff joints. Oil the works by consuming oily fish, aubergine, pineapple, spinach, celery, green tea and        rapeseed and olive oil.

4. Sore eyes?  Step away from screens and avoid reading anything for at least 20 mins. Use a flannel dipped in hot water and wrung out to bathe sore eyes.

5.  Get moving. The more you use your joints, the less stiff they become.

6. Distilled vinegar is amazing stuff!  Use it to de-scale kettles and irons.

7.  Spring onions are super convenient when cooking for ones and twos. Much easier than peeling and chopping onions.

8. Heat a plated meal in the microwave. Cover loosely with cling film and microwave on full power for 3-4 minutes. Stand for 1 minute before serving.

9.  Your hair as well as your muscles need protein daily. Include a portion the size of your clenched fist with every meal.

10.  Dry fresh herbs for winter use in the microwave. Arrange on dinner plate lined with kitchen paper. Cover with kitchen paper. Microwave in minute blasts until dry.
