Air Fried chicken wings
Adding baking powder helps the chicken wings to crisp up.
Ingredients
12 wings, halved or not, blotted dry on absorbent kitchen paper
1 Tbsp sunflower oil
2 Tsps chicken seasoning of choice
1 Tsp sweet paprika
3 Tsps baking powder
1 Tsp runny honey
Salt
To Serve: chopped chives or spring onions
Method
1. Put chicken wings into a large non metallic bowl.
2. Add oil, seasoning, paprika, and and baking powder. Add a light seasoning of salt. Toss well to coat. Cover and set aside for 15 mins or chill overnight.
3. Heat air fryer to 190C. Cook wings in batches, for 8 minutes. Turn and drizzle with a little honey.
4. continue to cook for 3-4 minutes at 200C, until golden and cooked through. Internal temperature should reach 165F.
Serve sprinkled with freshly chopped chives or sliced spring onions.
